Name: Courtney Cox
How long have you been in Greenville? 28 years today! I was born and raised in Greenville, went to Clemson University, then came straight home.
Most interesting fact about you: I have won Miss Congeniality on local, state and international levels in pageants and was Miss Teen South Carolina International 2009.
Your background: I grew up on the eastside of Greenville and have spent the last 28 years watching our beautiful city grow.
I had a pretty normal 90's childhood... bowl cut and all! I spent my younger years swimming for multiple swim teams in Greenville, and was a year round swimmer until I was mid-teens. When I was fifteen years old I started modeling and competing in pageants, winning my first pageant in 2007 as Miss Greenville Teen USA. The next year I worked with my parents and sisters to open up cocobella boutique, which is still a staple in the West End of Greenville!
I went to Clemson University in 2009 and majored in Marketing, graduating with my Bachelors Degree in 2012. Immediately following college, I went back to work for my family as the marketing director at cocobella, and nine months later moved into the corporate world at ScanSource as an account executive when we sold the boutique. The most important thing that happened during all of this was rescuing my pit bull, Ralph Lauren, who has inspired my entire world! I plan to open a domesticated animal and wildlife rescue in the Upstate of South Carolina within the next ten years. On my farm, I will offer therapy for those with mental illness or special needs.
Somewhere along the way, I also decided to start blogging! With how much I travel, I decided I needed a creative outlet during my nights away from home. I try to keep up with my family and friends through my Instagram posts and blog at constantlycoco.com, featuring my favorite fashion, lifestyle and beauty trips through the eyes of a traveler!
Currently reading or watching: Millie's Fling by Jill Mansell (I'm a sucker for British fiction!)
Hobby: Running! I love going out to the Hartness campus off Pelham Road every night for a run around their lakes and trails
Tagline / Motto: Spread kindness like confetti!
Who do you work for? ScanSource, Inc.
What is your day-to-day on the job? After almost five years in sales at ScanSource, I recently moved into a new role at ScanSource as the Business Development manager for Jabra (the best headsets in the world!)
I travel about 70% of the time across all of the USA and Canada to enable our partners to provide the best solution for their customers through training, road shows and industry events.
While in the office, I spend my time supporting our inside sales team to increase revenue and mind share for our product line, and spend most lunch breaks in our gym!
